Edward was originally born in North Philadelphia to a single mother of 4 named Arie Harrison. He and his 3 sisters later moved to West Philadelphia, where he was raised until high school. From there, his family moved here to New Castle, De.

Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, raised in Berlin, Maryland, Nolan is a veteran of the United States Army where he served for 6 years. He is divorced with 2 adult children and 8 grandchildren. He is the oldest son of 5 siblings.

Mike Coleman was born and raised in the Southbridge neighborhood of Wilmington, DE where it was instilled to work hard as well as figuring out how to work well with conflict.

What Mike enjoys more than anything is interacting within the different communities, schools, Rec Centers, and any public forums because he is one of the founding officers who implemented the “Know Your Rights” program which educatesboth children and adults particularly on how to safely interact with police as well as report improper police conduct.

Sandra Smithers is a life-long resident of Delaware. For most of her life, she has resided in the community of Dunleith. In addition to her commitment to preserving the history and the legacy of that historic community, she is passionate about improving the quality of life for residents who live along the Route 9 Corridor, especially in education.

Ronald D. Handy, Sr. is a member of the Route 9 community where he has been involved with Community Service for over 35 years. He is a strong advocate for the growth and development of communities along the corridor and in the city of Wilmington.
